Internally the property is wonderful: the property has hot and cold air conditioning, Sky Television and is well furnished throughout. This exclusive development of 'La Borboleta' is front line beach. The spacious communal gardens lead directly onto the unspoilt Andalucian beaches, from the 300m2 swimming pool you can see the entire Costa del Sol coastline beyond Marbella and also watch the local fisherman collect their daily catch at sunrise. The development is enclosed and secure and also benefits from a paddle tennis court.

Bedrooms - There are 4 very spacious bedrooms in total, 1 double room and 3 twin rooms, sleeping a total of 8 people. The master bedroom and upper bedroom have fantastic sea views and private terraces. The "4th bedroom" is open plan and the only room on the upper floor of the property. It is a fantastic penthouse style room with a vaulted ceiling, 2 single bed settees and private terrace. Please note that although this room is sufficiently private it does not have a door. All bedrooms benefit from hot and cold air conditioning.
Bathrooms - The master bedroom is ensuite with a bath and overhead shower and double vanity unit and marble decoration. The family bathroom also has a bath with overhead shower. On the lower floor there is a guest toilet.
Lounge - The lounge is a large open plan room, incorporating the dining room which seats 6 people. There is hot and cold air conditioning, Sky TV (free to air channels only) and a DVD player. The lounge has french doors which lead to the large terrace.
Kitchen - The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. There is a utility room from the kitchen for drying clothes etc.
Outdoors - This property is on a corner plot and as such benefits from additional internal and external space. The terraces are extremely large and South - West facing so you can enjoy the sunshine all day until sunset. There are 2 dining tables both seating 6 people and 4 sunloungers. All terraces have great sea views and are perfect for Mediterranean living.
Parking - There is a double garage underneath the property providing ample private parking for the property. Numerous visitor parking spaces are also in the development.
Cleaning, Maid service, Linen and Towel - The property will be cleaned before and after your stay only unless additional cleans and change of linen are requested by you at the time of booking. All linen and towels are provided (including tea towels). Pool towels are not provided and it is essential that clients bring their own towels for this purpose.
Changeover Days - Changeover days and your length of stay are completely flexible (subject to availability).
Resort facilities - Residencia la Borboleta boasts on of the largest garden and pool area for a development of its size. The pool is 300m2 and ideal for both serious swimmers, cooling off and playing in the water. There is a seperate childrens pool (the water is approximatly knee height). The gardens have direct access to the beach. From the gardens and the pool there are incredible sea and beach views. The community also has a Paddle Tennis court (racquets not provided). The community is gated and secure. A lifeguard is employed during July and August only.
Beach - The beach can be accessed from the communal gardens, here you will also find a "Chiringuito" which is a traditional Spanish beach bar serving fresh sea food and full bar facilities. There are also sunloungers and sun shades for chiringuito clients.
Golf - The nearest golf course is La Duquesa Golf which is approximately a 8 minute car drive away. Exceptional courses including Valderama, La Reserva, Almenara, Sotogrande, Doña Julia and Finca Cortesin are all within a 20 minute car drive.
Bars, Restaurants & Shops - There are limted but excellent dining options all within walking distance of the property including the Chiringuito beach bar, the fantastic "San Raphael" Spanish restaurant and the Schooner Bar - Restaurant which serves excellent typical bar and restaurant menus. Shops and other bars and restaurants can be found in abundance in Puerto Duquesa Marina which is a 5 minute car drive or 30 minute walk along the beach.
Travel - There is easy access to the dual carriage way which runs along the Costa del Sol. There is a bus stop outside the development although the time table is limited and especially in the winter months.
Car Hire - Car hire is highly recommended and essential for families with young children or people with limited walking ability.
Children - This is a very family friendly resort due to its large swimming pool and seperate childrens pool, security and facilities.
