Your credit card details will be taken at the time of booking and will be used as a damage deposit. Payment must be made in full to Barrington Holidays at the time of booking by either credit card or bank transfer.

Currency Conversion

Please note that credit card payments carry a 3.5% surcharge and bank transfers must be received to Barrington Holidays nett of charges.

Bedrooms - The master bedroom is a double room with ensuite bathroom. The other bedroom is a twin room. Both are a very good size and have hot and cold air conditioning.

Bathrooms - The bathrooms are extremely luxurious due to the marble finish. The ensuite bathroom has a double sink and vanity unit with a hydro massage bath. The shower room also boasts a marble finish with a hydro massage shower. There are also heated towel rails.

Lounge - The living room is furnished to a very high standard and benefits from hot ad cold air conditioning and English TV. There is a large corner sofa and a dining table with 6 chairs. There is also the added luxury of a plasma screen TV.

Kitchen - The kitchen is fully equipped with Siemens appliances including microwave, oven and hob, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. There is a utility room from the kitchen with electric boiler and washing machine and an area for drying clothes etc.

Outdoors - There is a good sized terrace which is furnished with modern outdoor sofas and chairs and a coffee table. The terrace is covered and overlooks the pool area.

Parking - There is a secure private underground parking space with lift access to the apartment level and off road parking.

Cleaning, Maid service, Linen and Towel - The property will be cleaned before and after your stay only unless additional cleans and change of linen are requested by you at the time of booking. All linen and towels are provided (including tea towels). Pool towels are not provided and it is essential that clients bring their own towels for this purpose.

Changeover Days - Changeover days and your length of stay are completely flexible (subject to availability).

Resort facilities - Marina del Castillo is a recently built luxury development on Duquesa beach. The community is gated and has a large communal pool, Sun terraces, sauna and underground parking and lift access to all levels.

Beach - Marina del Castillo is a beach front resort. The beach is a blue flag beach which is a leader in European health, safety and beach facilities. There is a wide choice of of chiringuito beach bars serving fresh seafood, cold beer and sangria. Some beach bars have sunloungers and sun shades for its clients and watersports facilities(not including jetskis).

Golf - The nearest golf course is La Duquesa Golf which is approximately a 3 minute car drive away. Exceptional courses including Valderama, La Reserva, Almenara, Sotogrande, Dona Julia and Finca Cortesin are all within a 15 minute car drive.

Bars, Restaurants & Shops - Puerto Duquesa marina is a 5 minute walk away. There are over 30 restaurant and bar options ranging from excellent international cuisine to pub food to take aways. This wonderful marina is a lively and welcoming place to be both day and night and is a wonderful setting to enjoy your holiday. The closest seaside resort of CASTILLO is only a 2 minute walk away. Here you will find all the amenities of a town and an abundance of traditonal spanish restaurants and tapas bars.

Travel - There is easy access to the dual carriage way which runs along the Costa del Sol. A taxi rank and bus stop is within a 5 minute walk from the resort although bus times may be limited and especially in the winter months.

Car Hire - Car hire is recommended and but not essential as all amenities are within a short flat walking distance including taxi ranks and bus stops.

Children - This is a family friendly resort as Marina del Castillo is a gated community with 24hr security. There are large sun terraces and a communal swimming pool. There is also direct access to the beach and easy walking along the promenade to Puerto Duquesa marina. Please note that the pool is over 1 metre deep even in the shallow end and therefore may not be suitable for very young children.
